TER Chemicals is to acquire the nutrition business unit of the Selectchemie group. With this strategic addition, TER Chemicals is sending a clear signal for growth in the food & nutrition sector and is further expanding its presence in the Swiss market as well as throughout the wider DACH region.

The nutrition division of Selectchemie, which has been operating under the name Selectnutrition, is a leading distributor for the Swiss food and supplement industry, representing a wide range of renowned suppliers. With its own application laboratory and a broad product portfolio, the company has expertise in developing innovative solutions and concepts for numerous segments of the industry. TER Chemicals will be taking on all employees of Selectnutrition and will be integrating the business into its existing Swiss entity, TER Schweiz AG.

For Selectchemie AG the move sees it pivoting to focus exclusively on its core pharmaceutical business, which includes the distribution and marketing of APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients), excipients, and finished dosage forms.

The sale was signed in December 2025, with completion expected around April 1, 2026.
