Finnish Bang & Bonsomer Group Oy, headquartered in Helsinki and operating in nine countries, has acquired 100% of the share capital of Swedish-based, B.Engelhardt & Co AB and its Danish subsidiary Engelhardt A/S.

This creates a fantastic opportunity for Engelhardt to continue to grow and develop as part of a strong international group

Founded in 1962, Engelhardt has become one of the leading players in the Nordic region for dry mixes, baking aids and health products, as well as a distributor of specialty ingredients sourced from around the world. During the latest financial year, Engelhardt reported a turnover of over SEK 400 million (approx. EUR 35M) ,with solid profitability, and has around 60 employees.

“This creates a fantastic opportunity for Engelhardt to continue to grow and develop as part of a strong international group. I am convinced that this will benefit both our customers and employees in the future,” said Eva-Lotta Nylén, former owner of Engelhardt.

The acquisition further strengthens Bang & Bonsomer's position, particularly in the food ingredients market. Engelhardt will become part of Bang & Bonsomer's FOODING business division, which focuses on selected food industry segments and applications, delivering safe, high-quality ingredients, innovative solutions, and technologies.

All Engelhardt personnel will continue their employment with Bang & Bonsomer.
