Safic-Alcan acquires Italian ingredients distrbutor, PNP SRL
The French-headquarted, Safic-Alcan Group, a leading distributor of specialty chemicals, has announced the acquisition of 100% of the shares of PNP SRL, an Italian dairy and food ingredients distributor.

Founded by Mr. Paolo Pennati in 2012, PNP has a strong presence in the dairy and food ingredients market, with its headquarters located in Milan. This acquisition complements the business of Castelli Food, which Safic-Alcan acquired in 2019. PNP Srl has been successful at growing with some of the big names in the Italian food industry and with important small and medium-sized players in the fragmented Italian food ingredients market. PNP also provides customised solutions and know-how to enhance the performance of milk products across different applications.
