The Lavollée Group gains a Platinum EcoVadis medal for its CSR policy

The Lavollée Group (Lavollée SAS, Firmalis SAS and SIPA A. CH. BERTIER SARL) has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum medal and joined the small group of European distributors of chemicals, mineral and ingredient specialties that have reached this level. The EcoVadis award reflects the quality of a company's sustainability management system and the Platinum medal is the highest level awarded to the top 1% of companies.

Our companies must work on their CSR policy with no limit and no end

Hervé O. Lavollée
President of Lavollée Group

The group has constantly improved its EcoVadis ranking over the past 5 years. Its CEO Hervé Ory-Lavollée declared: “This medal is recognition of several years of efforts to rethink the processes in all the business units of the group in order to give an ever-larger place to the major fundamentals that forge an ambitious, loyal, concrete and above all pragmatic social responsibility where action prevails over communication.”

For the latest EcoVadis assessment, the Lavollée Group had paid special attention to the sustainability of their international purchases, which represents 90% of the Group's product portfolio.

Hervé Ory-Lavollée added: “This is not an end in itself but an encouragement to keep up the efforts together with our teams and all our partners. We are convinced that distribution being a key part in the whole supply chain, our companies must work on their CSR policy with no limit and no end.”
