JNS-SmithChem, a full-line distributor of specialty chemicals and additives, has acquired CheMarCo Inc., a specialty regional distributor based in Greenville, SC. The acquisition will significantly expand the scope and sales coverage of JNS-Smithchem, while providing both companies complementary product lines to deepen the connection with their existing customer base, according to company executives.

Founded in 1981, CheMarCo has established its reputation in specialty chemical distribution through product and technical expertise, and reliability among its network of strong supplier and customer relationships, according to JNS-SmithChem, which represents over 30 different raw material manufacturers.
