About Pluschem
A global network of major distributors
About 20 years ago, it became clear that the speciality chemicals market was simply not working as well as it could for so many stakeholders worldwide. High-quality, manufacturing specialists knew there was a demand in Europe for their product but found it hard to make the right connections. And chemical distributors across Europe with vast expertise, market knowledge and insight, often found it tough to find the right supplier.
And with that, in 2000, PlusChem was born. Now there was an independent broker who could enable working relationships on both sides and develop a solution for all. Simply put, we had the expertise that was missing in facilitating the trade of high quality chemicals between two specialists in their own fields – manufacturers and customers.
Twenty one years later, we’re proud to say that PlusChem is a European-based multinational network of distributors with a particular focus in speciality and fine chemicals. With a total turnover of €1.5 billion, we’re made up of five European and eight international companies, each one independently and privately owned.
In the coming years, we look forward to working closely with new manufacturers globally and indeed, welcoming new partners in to our network.
